Our Pastor
Reverend Robert A. Grevious is a native of Louisville, receiving his formal education through the Jefferson County Public School System graduating from Shawnee Senior High School. Furthering his education Rev. Grevious attended and graduated from the Kentucky School of Mortuary Science to become a licensed Embalmer and Funeral Director. Rev. Grevious enlisted in the United States Army serving as a Multi-channel communication equipment operator and, reassigned as a Graves Registration Memorial Activities Specialist.
Through the trails of life, Rev. Grevious felt and recognized, then acknowledged a call to Ministry. Rev. Grevious has served in the capacity of Deacon and , a Trustee. Rev. Grevious' desire to be God's Ambassador lead him to enroll in Kentucky's only HBCU Simmons College of Kentucky where he completed Certification in Associate Minister Studies, and he was awarded an Associate of Arts degree in Relious Studies; Graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor Degree in Relious Studies.
Rev. Grevious presently serves as assistant to the pastor for Historic Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, and continues to lead the Wednesday night Bible study class.
Rev. Grevious has powerful testimony connecting us all on a personal level. His love of life is contagious, his sense of humor infections, his speaking style and capabilities are captivation. Rev. Grevious' interactive teaching compels people to realize that they are infinitely greater than they thought possible. Happily marred, 6 children, 22 gran, 13 great-grandchildren; Rev. Grevious' personal life path and ministry are encouraging everyone to discover, realize, and actualize the Truth within.
